Dongguan Gaoneng Industrial Co., Ltd. (Gaoneng) is a high-tech enterprise, professionally producing a range of high-voltage composite insulators. Founded in 1994, with registered capital of USD2,440,000, through eleven-year continuous development, Gaoneng is now one of the leading enterprises in the field of composite insulator in the aspect of technology, product quality and production scale in China.

Covering an area of 20,000 square meters, our holding assets are USD11,260,000 now. Our company can manufacture DC/AC composite insulator of different grade from 10kV to 750kV for electric power transmission lines and electrified railways.
In addition, we also produce inter-phase spacers, 10kV disconnectors, optical-fiber composite insulators and hot line operation rods etc.

Gaoneng possesses many sophisticated facilities, such as digitally programmed injection molding machines, ending-fitting crimping machines, acoustic emission detecting devices, 1,000kV power-frequency test transformer, with a production capacity of 800,000 110kV composite insulators per year and can carry out all ex-factory tests according to relevant requirements up to 500kV.

One of Gaoneng's outstanding characteristics is our technical innovation. We have been attaching great importance to improve production technology and product quality and have obtained abundant research and development outcomes.

Currently, we employ 220 staff, including 30% with college degrees. In the process of long term and large scale production, our technicians and experienced workers form our powerful development, design and manufacture strength. We have been keeping long term contact and cooperation with China Power Research Institute, Wuhan City High Voltage Research Institute, Tsinghua University and other research institutes in an effort to gain more strong support for our scientific research and development activities.

Operation according to ISO9001 quality assurance system assures our product and service quality. Gaoneng's all kinds of products have passed relevant national tests. Meanwhile, our products have passed 5,000-hour accelerated aging test at KEMA HV lab in Netherlands. As of July 2005, there are altogether 1.4 million Gaoneng's composite insulators operating on various power grids and electrified railways across China, of which 55,000 are 500kV DC/AC products. We supplied our products for the well-known Three Gorge Project and other national key projects many times.
